HARD BACK WALL PADS — BUILT FOR SAFETY, DURABILITY & PERFORMANCE

Protect walls and high-traffic areas with commercial-grade Hard Back Wall Pads manufactured for gyms, schools, athletic facilities, training rooms, recreational spaces, and other environments where dependable impact protection is needed.

Each wall pad is made to order and constructed with 2" open-cell foam, a durable 7/16" rigid structural backer, and 14 oz. Safe-Gard™ Leatherlike™ athletic vinyl for a professional, long-lasting finished installation.

  • 2" Open-Cell Foam
    Provides cushioning and impact protection while maintaining a clean, professional profile.
  • 7/16" Rigid Structural Backer
    Provides structural support and a solid mounting surface for dependable installation.
  • 14 oz. Safe-Gard™ Leatherlike™ Vinyl
    Snyder Manufacturing's premier athletic fabric features a durable Leatherlike™ Lite embossed finish and is designed for demanding athletic applications. The material is phthalate-free, flame retardant, anti-microbial, and printable.
  • Wrapped Construction
    Foam and vinyl wrap around the pad edges for a finished appearance and durable perimeter protection.
THREE MOUNTING OPTIONS

Choose the attachment system that best fits your installation:

Double Z-Clip Attachment
Z-clips at the top and bottom provide a clean, secure mounting system with the attachment hardware concealed behind the pad.

Z-Clip / Grommet Attachment
Z-clips secure the top of the pad while reinforced grommets at the bottom provide additional attachment points. A vinyl hardware cover conceals the bottom mounting area for a finished appearance.

Double Grommet Attachment
Reinforced grommet attachment points at both the top and bottom provide direct mechanical fastening to the wall. Vinyl hardware covers conceal the mounting areas after installation.

Wall fasteners are not included. Appropriate fasteners should be selected for the specific wall construction.

Overall installed height varies depending on the selected attachment method:

  • Double Z-Clip: 48" or 72" overall
  • Z-Clip / Grommet: 50" or 74" overall

Choose from 17 standard vinyl colors to coordinate with school colors, team branding, facility interiors, or other design requirements.

Custom colors may also be available for qualifying projects.

CUSTOM LOGOS & GRAPHICS

Make your wall padding part of your facility's identity. The Safe-Gard™ Leatherlike™ athletic fabric is suitable for digital and screen printing, allowing us to offer custom logos and graphics upon request.

TESTED ATHLETIC VINYL

The Safe-Gard™ Leatherlike™ fabric used on our wall pads is manufactured for athletic applications and carries manufacturer-listed fire-performance qualifications including California State Fire Marshal Title 19, NFPA 701 (2015), and ASTM E-84-81A Flame Spread Rating Class A.

Separate laboratory ASTM E84 testing of 14 oz. vinyl laminated fabric reported a Flame Spread Index of 15, Smoke Developed Index of 300, and Class A rating.

Fire-performance ratings referenced above apply to the tested/listed vinyl material and should not be interpreted as certification of the complete assembled wall-pad system.
